Tie is often related to Business people, lawyers or some special event likes weddings. Many people wear it but some people don't like it. They think it is not comfortable for them. Tie can show how man is serious and does he respect somebody or some event. I wear tie every year on Tie day and on weddings.

How often you wear a tie?

Yes I do as it's in my dress code. However, I do it only when in my office, formal party or on business tour. I avoid it in my daily life, informal parties or outing for fun.

I literally never wear a tie.  In best cases you’d find me wearing a formal shirt but even that is rare.

You were never on some event where dresscode required wear a tie?

What do you do as your work? I'm teacher and I don't have to wear a tie every day.

I am a marketing professional that has to contact higher officers and engineers in their offices or conduct seminars. I am basically an engineer and a business professional who finds time to work online too. Yes, I understand most teachers are not required to wear ties.

I'm not required to wear it at office so I'm not wearing tie. But on special occasions it's better to wear a tie and it makes you look smart and classy.

Am a lady but then I love men who don't wear ties. It makes someone look to official and serious which I never like. Am someone who likes casual and I love men who wear casual too.

I know few which like men with ties. Tie will show is men serious or still a kid. Serious men can be more trusted and such more attractive. Probably they are more attractive to older womens.

Well it depends on the kind of thing I am doing. If I am going to a wedding or something like that then yes I love to wear a tie. But if I am not then no. When I go to a church event I also wear ties. But that is what I do. Other that I hate them and feel like they choke me.

It really depends on the situation. On a day-to-day basis, working or not, I tend not to wear one. However, if it's for a formal occasion like funerals. job interviews, or weddings, then yes I'll wear a tie along with smart attire.

I wear a tie for my work, otherwise no.
Currently WFH I do not wear a tie at all.

If I go to an event that requires a tie, I'll obviously 'doll up' as it were and don the tie.

A wear a tie almost every day. Part of work. When I'm not wearing a tie, I'm wearing scrubs or a collared shirt. :p
Which industry do you work in? I work in Retail. I think it really depends on the sector and the type of job you do. For example, if you work in the construction industry, it's not relevant to the job to wear one.
